I've always enjoyed making things.

When I was a child, family trips to Cornwall often included time spent in my grandad's garage. Armed with a hammer, a handful of nails, and a pile of timber offcuts, I would happily spend hours building little boxes, wooden swords, and anything else my imagination could come up with.

That fascination never really went away. Over the years, woodworking remained a favourite hobby and a creative outlet. Then in 2023, I bought an arc welder, convinced that welding couldn't be that difficult. It turned out to be much harder than I expected 😮😄—but learning the craft opened up a whole new world of possibilities.

Today, my workshop is where wood, metal, and reclaimed materials come together. I enjoy designing and building practical, unique, and sometimes slightly unusual projects from whatever materials inspire me.

Every workshop also needs a supervisor. Mine is Thomas, who keeps a close eye on proceedings. He's usually very supportive, although he occasionally reminds everyone that the workshop exists primarily for his comfort and convenience.

Whether it's wood, steel, or something rescued from the scrap pile, I simply enjoy the process of turning raw materials into something useful, interesting, and built to last.
